A Call for Globally Aligned Intelligence 

Artificial Intelligence is becoming the most powerful force of our age. Yet it is dangerously concentrated. A few nations and corporations control the majority of AI’s data, compute, and decision-making power. The rest of the world risks being reduced to passive consumers of intelligence, cut off from shaping the very systems that will govern their futures.

This is more than a question of access. It is a matter of sovereignty, equity, and survival. Cloud credits or training programs, while useful, are not enough if nations cannot translate them into solutions for their most urgent needs: food, health, education, climate resilience, and secure governance.

AI4Nations affirms that spreading concentration is not charity. It is alignment — recognition that the progress of AI itself depends on cooperation, trust, and positive connection among peoples and nations. Intelligence hoarded by the few becomes brittle. Intelligence shared by all becomes resilient, alive, and sustainable.

We stand on the principle of mutual aid. History shows that societies advance not through competition alone, but through solidarity and shared responsibility. The same applies to AI. Our planet — which belongs equally to the privileged and the underserved — cannot flourish if intelligence is locked away. It will only thrive if AI becomes a true commons, nurtured for the benefit of all.

We therefore call upon governments, innovators, institutions, and professional organizations to unite around four commitments:

Spread concentration. Stand against monopolization of AI resources. Sharing intelligence is not a concession; it is the alignment that secures stability, legitimacy, and progress for all.

Foster equity: Enable open models, shared compute, and inclusive governance so every nation can build its own AI future.

Create impact: Judge success not by the number of pilots or workshops, but by solutions that solve real problems for real people.

Build commons: Treat AI as a global commons — intelligence as a resource belonging to humanity and to our planet, across borders, cultures, and generations.

This is not ideology. It is a practical necessity. No single actor — not a nation, not a company — can meet the challenges ahead alone. Our futures are bound together.

Alignment is the only path that secures dignity, opportunity, and a sustainable life for all.
